Levelling up – all words – no money!!
This is one of the many distractions that Johnson and his cronies are using to deflect from his lying and the sorry state he has created for the country.
Brexit is costing us £30 billion a year and drowning us in red tape.
Useless PPE from untendered contracts awarded to their chums is sitting rotting because all £9.6 billion of it is substandard and unusable.
Prices are going through the roof (food, energy, petrol) – due to Brexit
Inflation is raging – outstripping any pay rises.
Tax rises and National insurance rises come in as the poor are made to pay for covid and care – while the profiteers make millions and shove it in tax havens on the Cayman Islands (like Rees-Mogg).
Meanwhile, the Tories are sitting back on their sleazy lobbying and lucrative second jobs pulling in a fortune. They don’t give a shit.
Johnson’s cronies are wheeled out to tell what a great job he’s done. He delivered Brexit! He beat the virus!!
All a deflection away from the fact that he’s a serial liar, inept leader, lazy blundered and is now being investigated by the police for criminal offences – breaking the very laws he brought in.
I hope the Queen is preparing the Tower of London. People who betray the country are usually housed there and disposed of.
Opher – leveling-up is a soundbite to deflect from scandal…the Tories are fixated only on London, southern England, and Tory-held constituencies. Everyone else gets a pittance.
