The Reform UK party bus says on the side, “The Tory boiler ban will freeze your gran.”
A nice rhyme.
And three more of my own:
An electric car can’t take you far!
When the wind don’t blow, the power don’t flow.
When the sun don’t shine, there’s no juice on the line.
My report on the Reform UK party conference: https://misesuk.org/2021/10/07/some-thoughts-on-reform-uks-first-party-conference/. In the comments, I’m having a battle with a real far-rightist. You might want to reconsider your definition of “right-wing.”
About 300 miles at present – but good news is that my daughter is leading a team researching electric car batteries – they reckon they can put 50% on that and do a rapid recharge. That would make them better than petrol.
Have you not looked at the latest methods for storing energy? Some amazing schemes. It won’t matter when it’s not shining or blowing if we can store it.
They are just problems to be solved. Marry it with biofuel, geothermal, tide and some of the latest storage techniques and —- cheap, reliable, unpolluting energy – or did you just like smog?
