Many, many people will live to rue their votes. They, once again, shot themselves in the head!
You didn’t mention the poor butcher shop owners, now freed of EU restrictions over what can be put into sausage. Now the elite can eat more sawdust!! What freedom and liberty!!
The most ironic thing of all is that most of these regulations (geared to make things safer and of higher quality) were instigated from the UK.
Well, soldier on old bean! You’ve got five years to bring the country back around to your point of view. We will have been well into AOC’s twelve year countdown to climate armageddon by then. Probably won’t matter anymore, but hey! I know you’ll go down fighting 🙂 After next year there will likely be an army of political consultants over here who will be looking for work. Maybe they can help your cause. LOL

Good Grief, Opher. I certainly didn’t see this election result coming. I guess most voters (rightly or wrongly) wanted out of the EU very badly. Analysts on this side of the pond point to that and the unpopularity of Jeremy Corbin for the Tory landslide. It certainly put an end to the Brexit debate. Condolences, my friend.
It is a very sad day. I think people had just had enough of 3 years of Brexit. They wanted to get it done. On top of that 3 years of absolute poison from the tabloid press about Corbyn (the most vilified leader in history) set peoples’ minds against him. He was branded an extremist. I don’t think they even looked at the manifesto.
A complete disaster.
