Taiwan – Some Pagodas, Mountains and Buddhas.

Taiwan was a remarkable place – not too many really old places though because of the earthquakes.

Opher's World

Some more Buddhist pagodas, some highly stylised rest areas, and Buddhist statues. There is something serene about their scenic positioning and the Buddhas that stare out at the mountains. I enjoyed the vibe.

  1. Great photos – my family is from Taiwan and I visit once every year or so. There are plenty of Buddhist temples – have you been to the Matszu one in Lugang? It’s not far from Taichung.

    1. Thank you. I greatly enjoyed my stay there. The temples and scenery were spectacular. To be honest I’m not sure. We travelled around a lot all over the country. The names are a bit of a blur. Can you describe it?

I'd like to hear from you...
