  1. Thank you so much, Opher — I especially appreciate the support from around the world.

I only hope that my American brothers and sisters will be equally supportive — taking even a little bit of time to step up and sing out – letting our politicians know that they are watching, that they VOTE, and that they won’t vote for *anyone* who refuses to prioritize the best interests of the public OVER big business concerns.

Tweets, emails, phone calls & letters to our representatives in Congress – believe me all politicians WILL sit up and take notice if WE will take the time to insist on what we want in our lives (besides Orange cronies, perhaps – but even some of those if their livelihood is threatened).

Thanks so much for your help spreading the word about the need to take action NOW.

  2. I am not on Facebook Opher, but I have signed a Change petition on this a few months ago. It seems to me that despite protest by the people, the net neutrality laws will be taken away by powerful corporations with political lobbying tactics.

    1. Colette – It always feels to me as if lobbying is corruption. I don’t know what promises or backhanders are made.

      1. I agree. People are conned into most things…I’ve just seen evidence of that at an Expo in Kuala Lumpur today. Malaysia expects its oil palm industry (a major destructor of rainforest), which is already huge, to grow 300% by 2030. God help the planet.
