My beliefs – Creationism

To teach creationism in school science is stupid; it is a step back into the Dark Ages.

  1. Hey Opher,

It would seem to matter not on what framework of understanding we choose to hang our bones, there is only way to arrive at Gnosis and that by passing beyond the beyond: science is never going to be able to build a ‘tool’ immense enough to arrive at that elevated station.

Tell me, why does science search for the God Particle? What is their motivation for doing so? How will they know when they find it if they don’t know what they are looing for? Equally, should they actually find ‘it’ no doubt they will not be able to define ‘it’ using the language of science. Love is not a mathematical equation.

    Namaste 🙂

    1. Dewin – where you bin?
I think the Higgs Boson was the so-called God particle they were hunting for and found.
It seems to me that Physics is passing beyond. It gets weirder and weirder by the minute – puts Sci-fi to shame.
But you are right – it is the same with education – what price a smile? How can you measure empathy? What the worth for Tolerance, Respect and Compassion?
Some things are beyond the power to quantify.

      1. Hey dude, Namaste 🙂

I’ve been overseas, still am, so writing from a cinder track in a land with one bright star 🙂

Ahh yes the Higgs-Boson, I do recall reading of ‘success’…or at least reported success to qualify the immense expenditure in building the Ring of Mordor 🙂 It’s a great shame that the $13.25 billion was not spent providing hospitals at $800 million a pop for an ever growing population. Or indeed, in following the themes of education on schools? So what exactly will they now do with the Higgs-Boson and how exactly will it benefit humankind today, because we are talking about fundamental change happening today, not when science decides we can all move on sometime in the near future. Or am I being short-sighted here and fail to see the bigger picture entirely?

I try to keep abreast of modern science but it is so fluid and detailed to be possible to absorb it all. The discoveries being made are mind-blowing. I am constantly in admiration of human intelligence, its creative capacity appears almost infinite. I have said it here before, I do think science and spirituality are seeking definition of ‘something’. Indeed in certain regards spirituality leads the way for it has already provided a framework of exploration long, long before science usurped its centrality. I hope science catches up soon and certainly before another $13.25 billion is spent, which reminds me, I read that science and other ‘ologies’ suggest the world is due a water shortage this century that will kill millions.

I was commenting on a friends Blog and asked the question how does one educate without showing bias in any way so that a chid grows independently in thought?

As for Love, doesn’t that quality of human-nature come as standard on all makes and models? We all speak it’s language yet remain living in the tower of Babel when it comes to showing it. How would you as a scientist set about teaching the language of Love if it were a subject on the national curriculum? (Not R.E)

You’ve been posting like crazy lately and I haven’t been able to keep up with them all…I’ve poems to write Moonbeams to dream in and sunshine on Bryn Myrddin…so my apologies for not being about. I am perpetually transient, it is the tramp in me Opher and I just cannot be released from its wild call 🙂

Hoping all is well in the shadow lands where your header photo was taken.

        Namaste 🙂

      2. Hi Dewin,
I hope your travels are fruitful.
Do I detect some cynicism when regarding the feats of science? Science is wonderful and becoming more so by the minute. Nothing was ever so weird or awesome, so mysterious and tantalising.
Understanding the universe is what we do best.
Love. That is easy to do – a curriculum of cuddles!

      3. A curriculum of cuddles! – I’d do anything to be teacher’s pet but there are laws 🙂

Only some cynicism? Look harder lol 🙂 No, I’m teasing, but my reflections on expenditure when other more urgent matters should remain a priority are a truth also. Balance is needed in always.

‘Understanding the universe is what we do best.’ – yes when we listen with our hearts! Can you hear it beating?

Apple of thought for the teacher? lol 🙂

      4. ‘We’ being inclusive or exclusive of those that don’t practice Love or speak its language? It is the concept of Humanity that gets things right, in practice humans have yet to fully participate in an experiential understanding of this term. Perhaps one day we might when humans become humane and humbles Humanity herself.

        Do we Love well Opher?

        Namaste 🙂

      5. When we love we love well. Love is fundamentally human. It is the ones who don’t love who are the problem.

      6. Yes we do, you are quite right, beautiful people do do wonderful things and it is indeed the bad apples that spoil the barrel for everyone else. They must have been deprived cuddles when at school 😉

        Namaste 🙂

      7. Dewin – I can see it now – cuddling lessons – love on the curriculum – hugs for the emotionally challenged. What a world we would build (just need to keep paedophiles out of the equation).

      8. ‘Hugs for the emotionally challenged’ – what a glorious wit you have 🙂

I would introduce Medieval Torture to UK Law for anyone guilty of serial sexual abuse of children. I would have no hesitation in Impalement and Public Execution being made available to Judges. Indeed, I have suggested elsewhere on line that the putrefying corpse of the deceased paedophile be nailed to the wall in Theresa May’s front room and remain there until such time that Child Sex Abuse does not feature in our social history ever again. I have read many suggestions elsewhere online however that declare those with money wealth and privilege are the most prolific paedophiles of all: that they can pay for discretion and for the law to turn a blind eye. Since we have a Monarch as well as a MPM, I think it also legitimate to ask the question just what is the Queen doing about eradicating Child Sex Abuse in her precious kingdom? She does have children right and is a mother?

      9. Dewin – once we have solved the emotionally challenged problem there would be no paedophiles.
I may be in favour of putting rotting corpses in Theresa May’s front room but I do not think violence is an answer – perhaps research into who people become paedophiles might be a first step?

      10. I haven’t mentioned violence. It would be Law and application of the law that returns back something of the destruction that child-sex abuse creates in people’s lives.

Sure we could keep waiting around for science or socialists and other ologists to establish an agreed reason why people are sexual depraved and translate that to liberal policy OR else we could just get on with it and actually do something effective and immediate to halt proliferation of the debased and debauched. There is no time left for debate or stats collation, it is time to act and chastise those that hide. Non-violent wrath is coming. It’s called Humanity and it wears the colours of Love.

        Namaste 🙂

      11. Indeed in some quarters, namely the paedophiles rear quarters.

Why is slow agonising death by impalement any different to execution by other means? It achieves the same outcome. OR are you suggesting that the manner in which we, society, deal with the depraved the unhinged and the sexual deviants who enjoy kiddy-fiddling is a measure of our ‘humanity’? If so where exactly does one draw the line when applying effective law to those that remain unrepentant for their crimes.

        Namaste 🙂

      12. Dewin – because a society must be judged on how it treats its weakest, most powerful and most disgusting.
Does it care for the weakest, curtail the powerful and treat its most disgusting with humane justice?

  2. ~ Fair Judgement ~ By ~ Dewin Nefol ~

    You are fallen.

    Failed.
Ill-fitting of this glorious Crown our emerald Earth.
    God’s tended Earth.
    Neither yours nor mine.
She is fit for all Her children to reign.
    Supreme.
She is fit for you as well.
    But formless when parasites prosper.

One asks is paradise lost to parasites?
Milton asked the same thing once upon a time long ago.

Did he ever live to hear an answer?
    It matters not.

What matters is the crowning of our Emerald Jewel.
    New Eden.
    Her paradise will follow.
    Flourish.
    God has spoken.

Your godless god given to godless goddesses
    Cannot live for evermore.
    Or ever again.
    Nevermore!
    Decreed the Raven.
As Merlin chuckled somewhere close by.
