It is terrifying that we have these kinds of people in our nation. We Americans have to stand up for what is good and decent in our nation. Bigotry, racism, neoNazi, and other prejudices/hate groups must not define our country.
There is an ongoing battle to fight these pernicious attitudes. There are times when you think that things are really getting much better then it takes a big step back and you realise that these reprehensible attitudes are still there. All decent people have to stand up for a better world without racism and intolerance. Education is the answer. Equality has to be the goal. But while we are ruled by greed and selfishness these attitudes will prevail. I think they are born out of desperation and primitive tribalism.
Totally agree with Lori. When are the REST of us going to get sick enough of this turmoil to take our country back?
Decent people have to make their voices heard. Unfortunately we are allowing these malicious minorities to set the agenda. Racism stinks. Xenophobia stinks. I want a caring, equal world!
