Trump’s history of corruption is mind-boggling. So why is Clinton supposedly the corrupt one? – The Washington Post

If the papers say it, it must be true!
So why aren’t they saying it about Trump? Why the big framing of Clinton when nothing has come out from the investigations? Mud sticks.

The list of things for which Trump is being let off the hook is staggering.

  1. I had read this on line. I fail, fail, FAIL to understand how this stuff can go right over people’s heads. I guess Trump was right when he said he could walk out into the street and shoot someone and people would still vote for him. I just don’t get how real people can be so frickin’ stupid!

    1. The psychologists say that people make their minds up based on an emotional whim and then look for all the information that supports their position and reject the information that opposes it.
With Trump a lot of people early on thought that he supported their views and fears regarding terrorism and immigration and wanted to ‘make America great’ whatever that means. They emotionally connected. Exactly the same with Brexit. They then accept all the criticism of Clinton and reject all the criticism of Trump.
As I said previously in my posts on Brexit – people of all sides decide with their emotions and not their brains. The glands always win over the cerebrum.

  2. It appears Opher you have removed my comment to above, placed this morning, your perogative of course. It would suggest you do not like to have anyone that has a different opinion to you, that’s an emotional view on your part.

    1. Anna, I have neither seen nor removed your comment. I never remove any comments ever.
That’s very unfair of you to say that. I am quite happy to hear opposing views and willing to argue my case. I positively invite it. I don’t know what happened to your comment. I’d love to read it. Put it back up and I’ll respond. I always welcome different views.

      1. I apologise for that, I will have to get my youngest Son this evening, if he can, to find it for me or see what happened. I know Opher when I press “Post Comment” I always look up to see my Post has gone, and it had, and I re-read it. Maybe I messed it up by this, I pressed reply on Cheryl’s box because I wanted to thank her for something, then I thought I would send her a private note instead, is it possible by me doing that I knocked out what I had written – you know I am not “up on this internet lark”.

I apologise again for my last message I had assumed, wrongly it turns out, that I had offended you and you removed it, as you know I don’t comment on all your political/Religious blogs fear of arguments.

      2. Apology accepted Anna. I guess that was what happened. There are a number of times I’ve lost things. It is very frustrating. I’m glad we got that sorted.
I don’t get offended by anything you write. I sometimes disagree and I don’y mind having a disagreement about things. That’s fine. We can’t all think the same. My mum used to say that it takes all sorts to make the world go round.
It’s alright to argue as well. If we believe in things then we need to say them. As long as it doesn’t get personal I can’t see the harm. That’s the main reason I set up the blog – to get a range of views and argue them out. It’s good when that happens.
Anyway, I hope you are well and having a good day. You still haven’t told me about SF.

  3. I can’t tell you anything, definite because I am having more Blood Tests in another week or two, then I have to see the Doctor a week after. I can say that the pain has gone from my back/hips to my legs and its very painful making it not easy to walk – I want answers and all I get told is “more Blood Tests”.

      1. Been out today, Sept 10, just shopping, got as far as gate and I was in tears with the pain, pushed on though but its beginning to worry me now. Hope you and yours are all well.

      2. That is terrible. They really do need to sort it out. There is no excuse! I’m so sorry you are in so much pain. It’s not fair at all.

I'd like to hear from you...
