  1. Hey Opher, I just nominated you for the CREATIVE BLOGGER AWARD! I will be posting that post in a few minutes. I hope that doesn’t come as a shock to you, it being you are very creative.
I love here too. I miss my youngsterhood, Those were the days, and I still hope to make a difference.

    1. Why Rusty I am extremely flattered. Thank you. That is very kind.
Let’s hope we can make a difference and get back to that great zeitgeist of happiness, creativity, sharing, equality, freedom, optimism and love that I remember so well.
      Thanks again – opher

      1. Rusty – I keep thinking about this. What is this creative bloggers award? Does it entail doing anything?

  2. Awesome dude 🙂 Seriously. Too cool for school 🙂

I had to have a browse Opher, you know how it is when curiosity takes over….I missed the era, story of my life (lol)…you lived through an enlightened time…your poetry, was it first born during this period? I imagine the culture suited the arts/artistic practice and exploration of space simultaneously? 🙂 Your art is very vibrant, your palette rich in colour, your thoughts expansive and embracing.

Curiously I’m listening to Damh the Bard on You Tube 🙂 The photographs I enjoyed, thank you for honesty in sharing.

    Namaste 🙂

    1. Dewin – by all means have a browse. I am glad you are finding it rewarding. I started writing way back then and have produced quite a volume of work. Life is short. The 60s was a very vibrant and optimistic time to live. I miss its energy.

      1. Hey Opher,

Many with whom I speak remember the 60’s with similar regard. You’ve amassed quite a collection of books, an impressive number by any standard…I have to admire that level of creative output, if not also the joy it expresses in your craft.

I’ve a good friend who shares your sentiment about the time we have here: life is short. Recently retired from paid labour, he now sits on a steamer chair and gazes afar across beautiful countryside in west Wales whilst he teases out this sentiment 🙂 He is a poet who shares this slice of paradise with his wife and a Westy Terrier called Merlin. It has become a perfect life lol 🙂

I do indeed enjoy discoveries to be made browsing. It offers chance to explore another dimension of human nature and the opportunity to reflect, engage or otherwise participate in the reflective experience of entering another’s creatively personal world. It is rewarding in that all learning is expansive, all sharing of minds/spirits is a privilege, and all encounters possibilities for friendship. I think of writing as an honest and truthful endeavour and enjoy the trust I find amongst those who write with care, consideration, and with passion.

        Namaste 🙂
