Is China shaping up to be the big beast in the world?? The one we can’t trust?

Now that Russia has displayed its weakness and is collapsing slowly will some other evil empire rise up to take its place?

With its reputation as a totalitarian tyranny China is not looking good. Oppression and suppression seem to be its modus operandi, as per Hong Kong, Tiananmen Square, the Uyghurs, Tibet and Taiwan on the horizon. Increasing militarisation and belligerence.

Or perhaps Iran is the Bete noire – sending out its terrorist militia to cause war and instability.

Or could it be North Korea and the testing of ballistic missiles – pouring money into the military while the population starve?

Why can’t people be allowed to simply get along?
