I have collected my recent antiwar poems together into an anthology. These were inspired by the atrocities of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. I have written them over the course of this horrendous war. They chronicle the obscenities and my reactions and feelings. The suffering and destruction I witnessed, produced these heartfelt verbal responses.
War is an obscenity.
The perpetrators should all be brought to trial and made accountable.
I write so that we might, one day, become civilised human beings full of compassion not hate. I hope that day is not too far off.
