  1. Opher, that looks like a pretty decent way to deal with seriously variable water levels. Adaptation, rather than some silly idea of “mitigation.” What do you think?

  2. Yes, indeed. If only you and your green comrades thought that way; trying to solve problems when they become apparent, rather than trying to force other people down into poverty for the sake of some claimed future “problem” that isn’t even proven.

    1. The problems are staring you in the face. It’s always best to evade disasters if possible. The Cambodians didn’t wait until their houses were underwater until deciding to put them up on stilts or make them float. They looked at what was coming and planned ahead.
      Still disputing global warming when the facts are indisputable is clinging to a view for the sake of it. Intelligence is modifying views in light of the evidence.
