Today’s Walk up the Wolds in Yorkshire – Photos

We set off walking in sunshine but with a cool wind off the north sea. The Wolds presents a rolling landscape of chalky folds. The sky was cloudy but provided a fitting ominous backdrop. I love the trees – still skeletal but with the first nascent leaves bursting out.

There were yellow primroses breaking out on the verges.

We spied a beautiful farm that was operating as a waste disposal site! Can you spot it?
