Brexit – Ashford Lorry Park – Project Fear? Or reality?

A little while ago there was free movement of goods. Cheap and quick. Now there is a mountain of paperwork and border checks that cost a fortune. Costly and slow.

Lorries are piling up at the border. Extra staff, costly eqiupment, lengthy checks, extra costs, more facilities.

Just in time deliveries are out of the window.

Goods are piling up.

Perishables are rotting.

The South of England is being transformed into a lorry park.

The costs will be passed on to us.

Firms are going bust.

I thought this was meant to be project fear?
