Today the USA formally pulled out of the Paris accord. It plans to frack, to burn coal and oil and pollute. It plans to add to global warming. It gave up its leadership role.
Trump put short-term gain ahead of long-term thinking. The cost to the future is immeasurable. The costs will be enormous. Every fire, flood and hurricane, fuelled by global warming, will be set at his feet.
Today the USA is defunding the WHO and undermining the UN.
Today the radicalised terrorism of the white supremacists was empowered. Today hate was endorsed.
