A Big Thank You!!

I think a big thank you is in order!!

Thank you to all the people following my blog. There are thousands of you and that is really incredible.

It is fantastic to think that people from 137 different countries are interested in what I am writing. Thank you for following me.

Secondly – thank you to all those people who leave ‘likes’ and comments. It is very rewarding and makes you feel like going on. Now I know stats don’t mean a lot to you but they are very reinforcing for me. They make me feel that it is worth doing. So thanks for the support. Blogging takes a lot of time, effort and thought. It’s nice to know there is an appreciative audience.

Thirdly – thank you to all the people who have taken the plunge and tried one of my books. Please leave some reviews. I know it is a pain but it is great for me to hear what you think and it is good for anyone who is looking to buy to know what to purchase.

If you like what I write and would like to try a book then I have 22 up on Amazon. You might want to have a look: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Opher-Goodwin/e/B00MSHUX6Y/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1435313921&sr=1-2-ent

To start with I would recommend ‘Green’ if you enjoy a good Sci Fi read : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Green-Opher-Goodwin-ebook/dp/B00YHN7UJU/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8

or ‘In Search of Captain Beefheart’ if you like Rock Music : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Search-Captain-Beefheart-Opher-Goodwin-ebook/dp/B00TQ1E9ZG/ref=la_B00MSHUX6Y_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1435436099&sr=1-4

Or ‘A Passion for Education – The Story of a Headteacher’ if you are interested in the inside story of a Headteacher. (It’s not just for teachers!)

But there are a whole bunch to choose from. You might find something else that would take your fancy.

Thanks for the support and appreciation. It’s great!

Best wishes

  1. Namaste Opher 🙂

One of the main rewards for engaging with the Blogging community is found in the people we ‘meet’ in cyberspace: whether that be through good fortune or by recommendation and association with others. My ‘following’ of your Blog falls within the latter. I enjoy readership of your Blog and pondering your thoughts, your views, opinions and perspectives – you are a creative-being with an active mind. In turn I value your readership and support with my writing. Blogging is almost a community experience through which ideas are shared, discussion take place, and encouragement given. It’s a great way for people to come together from all over the world, to express themselves and offer reflection on life, the universe and everything in it: such is the immensity of the human condition there is always something interesting to discover.

I’m pleased to have met you in virtual-space Opher 🙂

When is Connexion going to be published?

Enjoy Friday and the forthcoming weekend. Take care.

    Namaste 🙂

    1. Dewin – it is a great delight to meet up with people, such as yourself, all over the planet. That is incredible. To have ones thoughts scrutinised all over the globe and find friends and like-minded people everywhere.
      Life is a wonder.
I am presently reading your book and will shortly be able to give a review. I’m enjoying it. What a great achievement!
As for Conexion – well I am going to give it to someone to edit and then it will erupt into life.
      Thanks for the great words
      Opher

  2. Indeed life is a wonder Opher, human beings especially, and Blogging continues that process of exploration and discovery: our world is made smaller as a consequence, and one would hope, people also made more accepting of others by acquiring an appreciation or better understanding of people within different cultures who have differing outlooks to our own. Perhaps Blogging is also an opportunity to reinforce the suggestion that people are not wholly dissimilar from each other: that despite differences in our ideas, our cultures, our philosophies etc. we share many fundamental, common denominators: we all exist, resist, persist.

Tis good news indeed to know you are still reading the book…that it held your interest beyond the dust-jacket lol 🙂 Thank you. You know I am grateful for your input. In the film, ‘Almost Famous,’ (recommended) an aspiring teenage rock-journalist is given advice by a writer working for NME magazine that when reviewing a band he should be, ‘honest and unmerciful!’ I shall accept nothing less than this in your review 🙂 Thank you for your comment 🙂

You’ll no doubt Blog when your book is edited, returned, and given the go to publish, so I’ll wait until then. Best wishes.

Have a great weekend my friend.

    Namaste 🙂

    1. Sometimes I wonder if we really communicate at all. But then on good days I take hope.
      I will be devastatingly honest.

      1. There should at least be hope Opher? If not for now then for future generations who might learn from current mistakes? Perhaps we are merely pathfinders forging pathways ahead towards a better understood world with greater vision.

‘Devastatingly honest’ – then so be it…do your worst!

        Enjoy your day.

        Namaste 🙂

      2. I usually do have hope but then on bad days I lose it. We are a sad, vicious species. Here’s to a better world!

  3. One of the greatest pleasures of blogging is the interaction with others. Sometimes reading the stream of comments is more interesting than the post! Or the flow of discussion that grows out of the post. It is a pleasure to have you as part of what I like to think of as my blogging family.
