Petition update
Victory!
28 Jan 2018 — After months of limbo, the Trump Administration just officially announced the reversal of the ban lift of African elephant trophy imports into the United States! This victory was won by you, and the more than 1.1 million Change.org supporters who rallied together to protect the threatened African elephant.
I started this petition because we are not powerless to effect change in any administration. Because of your incredible support, this is true, and our voices were heard! Thank you to every individual who signed and shared. Together we reversed a policy that would have been disastrous for the majestic African elephant, and I am so hopeful we changed this future together.
Thanks so much!

Hey good friend, Namaste 🙂
Fantastic news and worthy of celebration!
I have only recently come across Change.org via the work they are doing for the Homeless within certain cities across the UK. They seem a quality ‘organisation’ and one that I have supported and will continue to support.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful news.
Namaste 🙂

You rock on too Dewin! Strength to you!
We have been around for some time and in our eleventh year.
Good on you all in the Change.org team. You’re doing a great job! I am one of your regular supporters.
yay!
It’s good to have some great news every now and again isn’t it Raili.
It is !!
We desperately need some.
Well done! I just went with my grandkids to the IMAX movie “Born to Be Wild” which is about two nature preserves in Kenya that take in baby elephants whose mothers have been killed for their tusks, and another that takes in orangutans who have been displaced by deforestation of the rain forest. It was an excellent movie. (Well it was in 3D and the little boy next to me nearly fell out of his chair when one of the elephants kicked a ball at the screen. 😀 Surprised the hell out of the kids.)
That sounds brilliant Cheryl. I’ll have to look out for that and take my grandkids.
I am so happy that they have finally come to their senses!!
Took them long enough didn’t it?
Yup unfortunately it probably did a lot of harm to the poor elephants!
Some people simply do not care about animals.

Thanks for the reblog Pooj.
You’re very welcome Opher!
Hello ,
I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!
I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).
I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂
Keep up the good work on your blog.
