I received these warnings in my facebook. I do not know if they are correct but best not to take chances.
DO NOT ACCEPT A FRIEND REQUEST FROM A CHRISOPHER DAVIES AND JESSICA DAVIES THEY ARE HACKERS. TELL EVERY 1 ON YOUR LIST BECAUSE IF SOMEBODY ON YOUR LIST ADDS HIM, HE’LL BE ON YOUR LIST TOO. HE’LL FIGURE OUT UR COMPUTER’S ID AND ADDRESS , SO COPY & PASTE THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE EVEN IF U DON’T CARE. Please also Tell all contacts from your list not to accept a video called the “Dance of the Pope”. It is a virus that formats your mobile. Beware it is very dangerous. They announced it today on the radio. Fwd this msg to as many as you can!
Please tell all the contacts in your messenger list not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks.
Why do these horrible people do these things? What motivates them?

I don’t know how accurate the information is but I imagine it is kosher.Certainly best not to take chances. There are some messed up people out there and having your computer hacked is not a pleasant experience. All the best to you. You take care too.

Now, commonsense would dictate, that you do not add complete strangers to your friends’ list on Facebook.
Also, it is advisable that people beef up their security by adding a good firewall and antivirus program on their computer.
Unfortunately, Windows on the whole is very vulnerable.
Linux is a more secure option!

Linux is redundant. It’s tech’s too old now. It used to be used mainly by the German police and Interpol in the 1990’s/00’s. It’s also not something a person only used to using Windows might master very quickly.

Well I agree. It’s a means to an end for me. That is all. I create. I write – and I like to get to hold my product. I am too busy to market and have no inclination. That merely takes time and energy from creativity. I enjoy writing, not selling. Amazon gives me my books at a cheap price. I use them.
So Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith is a bit of a celebrity and I suppose folks might accept a friend from him ‘Jayden’ mistakenly thinking a celebrity has friended them. (You’d have to be pretty dumb, but I have no doubt it happens.) Good info! Thanks Opher.
