‘Tell the children the truth.’
We do have a habit of lying to children with Santa Claus and Tooth Fairies, of indoctrinating them with gods and religions, and of hiding real life from them. They deserve better.

Everything on the planet is political – from the salary you receive, the street you walk on, the clothes you wear, to war, environmental destruction. Votes do make a difference. They can change lives. The world is the way it is because of politics. You can do what they want and ignore it – let it happen to you – or you can do something about it on small and big scales. But politics affects everything you do. Life and nature is politics.

No matter what difficulties you have – be positive! Live every single moment to the full! Life is a wondrous journey! Choose a fulfilling path!

Bob was real. I had a ticket to see him in Santa Barbara on what turned out to be his last tour. Liz had booked us a week in Joshua Tree Park instead.
I love Bob. I never got to see him in concert, but I did see Ziggy a few times. He is pretty cool too 🙂
Not seeing Bob is one of my regrets (I have a few). I’ve never seen Ziggy either. Lucky you.
