There were a group of VIPs who were privileged enough to attend the sound check and have a private interview with Roy. One of them flew all the way from Japan just for the concert. I think he told me his name was Oke but I apologise if I misremember. I promised him I’d put my photos up on the web for him.
I saw him after the show and asked him if he thought it was worth it and he told me that it had been superb!!
So if it’s worth flying in from Japan it is certainly worth buying up those last few tickets in Edinburgh!

That would be good. They are historic documents but I like them. There is one that is special! Possibly two?
And talking of hopes up – more or less during one single week – my top 5 favourite acts of all time, OK 6 including Hendrix.

Tomorrow night – The Beatles – “Eight Days A Week” movie, showing for one night only
Friday – Led Zeppelin – new suped up “BBC Sessions” 3xCDs released
Saturday – Roy Harper – in concert, Usher Hall, Edinburgh
Friday 23rd – The Rolling Stones – “Live in Cuba” movie, showing for one night only.
All I need now really is the company of Sharon Stone….
